It is an accommodation thoughtfully decorated in an Irish country cottage style and built to eco-friendly principles using the Geo-thermal system.

Located on a farm only 2.5 miles from Banagher town in Co. Offaly, Ireland. The Ashtree Cottage has the feeling of seclusion while it is actually well placed to tour the West of Ireland and is within easy walking distance of the River Shannon!

Banagher is famous for its Irish music pubs, its river cruises, Bog walks and rail tours, great Fishing, (both coarse and salmon and trout). Its proximity to several golf courses, Excellent super markets and shops, Restaurants and Hotels. Most of the pubs serve really good food also.
