'A new CARLOW Book' Michael Purcell and myself (Michael Brennan) wish to inform you that we are planning to write a new book based on the material that we are currently displaying on the Carlow IGPTM  website. We are aiming for December 2009 as the publishing date. All contributors will be acknowledged and given credit where necessary, and of course Copyright, where appropriate, will be respected. This website is dedicated to all Carlovian's at home and around the world for without their generous contributions they have all made to this website it would not have become one of the largest Irish County web sites that it is today. The aim is to bring to life various elements of the Carlow communities by way of its people, heritage, culture and arts and to acknowledge those who have contributed to its history both past and present. Provide historical information about the county and it's records within the county, which we hope will assist people trace their ancestors and enlighten people, young and old, about this great (and smallest) Irish county of Carlow.
